Here in this category we are going to learn about HTML. In this post I will give a short introduction to the HTML language. Before starting with be clear with study pattern I am going to give in my each post a single chapter or an important topic daily. So that later you can find your topic just by seeing the post heading.

Ok lets start now.

HTML, which stands for Hyper Text Markup Language, is a structural language developed in order to design web pages. By the help of help of HTML we can design very efficient web pages containing images, links etc. It came into existence in 1991 mentioned by Tim Berners-Lee on the internet as document called HTML tags. From then it has under gone many improvement and thus have many versions in existence. One must know that HTML is not a programming language (a quick relief for many computer students) but is a markup language. What I mean by this? You don’t have to use any logic you just have to create a structure or design (say a web page) with the available markup called tags. This is enough for the intro now in the very next post we will be playing with the HTML.

This is my favorite subject but a bad luck of me that I was unable to get it during my UPTU counselling. Its ok. But then too I tried and learn few of the languages which I could discuss here. And other topics too that I have learned or intended to learn would come under the same topic.

For above topic I must say its really an interesting and moreover an easy subject whose basics should be known by everyone( Branch play no role here) because everyone know how important is computers in our daily life. So be ready and have a happy learning…..
